Edo 2024: Sowore Flags Off AAC Gov’ship Campaign In Benin

Former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Mr. Omoyele Sowore has flagged off the party’s governorship campaign at the Youth House, Akpakpava Road in Benin City, Edo State.

While addressing supporters of the party, Sowore urged them to anticipate victory in the September 21, 2024 governorship election.

His words, “ I’m so delighted to be here today, it’s a thing of Joy. I’m assuring you dear Edolites, that the change you desire is here today. Cry no more for Edo State is about to regain her lost Glory.”

The governorship campaign flag off witnessed a massive crowd of supporters comprising dignitaries such as the party Chairman, Gabriel Erhahon; the Deputy, Mike Ogbanya; State Secretary, Pastor Nathaniel; National Organising Secretary, Paul Oshiokhue; TIB National Coordinator, Juwon Sanyaolu, all party local government chairmen and other personalities.

Addressing the party faithful and other well-wishes of the state, the Edo State AAC chairman, Mr. Gabriel Erhahon assured the good people of the state of a divine change.

He urged them to come out in their numbers to cast and protect their votes on September 21.

Edo AAC governorship candidate, Dr. Oberiafoh Udoh used the occasion to disclosed that his contract with the people of the state was contained in his progressive agenda.

He explained that the agenda focused on investment, education, security and agriculture, among others.

He assured the people that he would not betray the confidence reposed on him by the state, when elected.

He stressed that his tenure would ensure that the dream of the state becomes to reality while urging the people to give him a chance to prove to them what God has deposited in him.
