Federal Govt Committed To Fight War Against Illegal Mining

The minister of Solid Minerals Dr. Dele Alake, has shown determination to tackle the menace of illegal mining head-on from day one, he hit the ground running, demonstrating a strong commitment to revamping Nigeria’s mining sector.

Minister Alake has forged alliances with various security agencies to bolster enforcement efforts. Recognizing that illegal mining poses significant security risks, he is working closely with entities like the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) and the Nigeria Police Force to enhance security around mining sites.
