This year’s edition of the Hope Builders Festival which is an annual program that provides a unique space for intergenerational dialogue and aims to support young, resourceful, and aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as upcoming social entrepreneurs, in generating innovative and sustainable revenue sources targets employability skills.

The executive director, Hope Builders Int’l Consult Limited, Rev. Mathias B. Yashim disclosed this while addressing a press conference preparatory to the festival expected to hold sometime in November this year.

According to the executive director, the Hope Builders Festival 2024 is designed to be a dynamic platform that empowers individuals with the essential skills and opportunities needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving job market, stressing that, “Our focus is on employability skills, often referred to as “soft skills,” which underscores the critical competencies that extend beyond academic knowledge and technical expertise”.

He emphasised that, these foundational skills enable individuals to engage effectively in the workplace, adapt to changing environments, and interact positively with colleagues and clients, adding that, “We believe that through strategic partnerships and collaborations, we can create a meaningful and lasting impact, equipping our community members with the tools they need for success”.

Rev. Yashim further said, the festival is a transformative endeavour to build a brighter future together and a unique opportunity to showcase commitment to community development,  demonstrate organisations dedication to fostering youth development, sustainable progress, and economic empowerment within our communities.

It is also an opportunity to access a diverse audience, engage with a diverse audience of entrepreneurs, professionals, educators, students, and community members from across Kaduna State and beyond, he said.

“The festival will also give you an opportunity to amplify your brand visibility: Increase your brand visibility and recognition among key stakeholders, industry leaders, and decision-makers through extensive event promotion and marketing efforts. Support Meaningful Initiatives: Align your brand with initiatives that make a tangible difference in society, such as interactive workshops, tech explorations, career connections, inspiring talks, and community engagement activities.

“Foster Long-term Partnerships: Establish lasting connections with like-minded organisations, government agencies, educational institutions, and community leaders to drive sustainable change and collaboration beyond the festival” he stated.
