LEADERSHIP gathered that 10 lives were lost to fire incidents during the review period.
The State Fire Service also received 190 emergency calls from the residents during the period.

The state commissioner for works, whose ministry supervises the Fire Service, Engr Abdulquawiy Olododo, said that many lives were saved by the prompt interventions of the men of the Fire Service with the aid of modern firefighting equipment and accessories provided for them by the state government.
