A Northern group, Arewa Think-Tank (ATTK) has condoled with the former senate president, Dr Bukola Saraki over the death of his mother.
In a condolence message on Saturday by the chief convener of the group, Muhammad Yakubu, they expressed sympathy to the former senate president and the people of Kwara State and prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed mother.
The group which expressed sadness over the sad news, encouraged Senator Saraki to take solace in the fact that his mother was a humble woman who led an exemplary life.
Yakubu said, that although death is inevitable, the exit of a mother and a parent is always a painful experience.
“We believed that Mama led a life worthy of emulation, and contributed her best to the growth of our society. Her legacies and memory will not be forgotten having nurtured her children, including Bukola Saraki, to become accomplished and reputable citizens of our dear country.
“Judging from the growth of her children, Mama was a dedicated, kind, humble, committed, generous and resourceful woman who brought her children up in the fear of God, love, hard work and enterprise.”
He said the group noted in particular that she bequeathed these great qualities on her children which made Senator Bukola Saraki an epitome of progressive leadership, who has demonstrated the rare qualities impacted on him by his late mother.
“He has brought these qualities to bear in the governance of Kwara State and Nigeria in general at such a short time,” he added.
The Arewa Think Tank also commiserated with the government and people of Kwara State, and the entire family of Saraki over the loss of their mother.
