A group, Northern Youth APC for Tinubu and Shettima 2023 has thrown its weight behind the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, saying the duo stands a better chance to win the 2023 presidential election.

Speaking during a Solidarity Walk alongside their Christian counterparts in Kaduna during the weekend the convener Solomon Atabo said Tinubu is the candidate to beat due to his nationalist stature.

Atabo said Tinubu and Shettima should be optimistic as the Christian youths residing in the north will give full support and massive votes during the presidential election for APC.

He said, “With the choice of Shettima, a fair, liberal-minded Nigerian, I am even more confident that APC can achieve more.
“Both of them will surely build on the key foundations that have been laid by the Buhari administration.”
He equally hailed the deputy spokesperson of the party Barr Hannatu Musawa for efforts toward unifying the party by bringing the youths together.
He said, “Tinubu’s pro-democracy credentials and his performance as governor of Lagos State clearly stand him out.”
Atabo, however, said there was a need to make efforts to convince more Nigerians of the immense development potential of Tinubu succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Tinubu as a detribalised, self-confident, liberal and independent minded; with a nationalistic flair.

“He is a man of capacity, credibility and competency, and this attribute makes him stand out from other presidential candidates.

“All that is needed is to get even more Nigerians to see the need to elect a proven achiever,” he said.

He added that Tinubu is tested and trusted and if he emerged he would revolutionise the fortunes of the nation.
