Council Polls: ADSIEC Trains Electoral Officers In Adamawa

The Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSEIC) has trained electoral officers and their assistants as part of preparations for the July 13, 2024, local government election in the state.

The Chairman of ADSIEC, Mohammed Umar disclosed this while declaring open a two-day training at the Nyako Centre in Yola, the Adamawa State capital.

Umar expressed the Commission’s confidence in conducting a free, fair and credible election where a fair level ground will be given to all political parties.

ADSIEC Chairman further revealed that the commission is working round the clock to ensure that it delivers a credible election.

He added that the electoral body has so far released the timetable and schedule of activities for the exercise, stressing that it has met with electoral officers and other stakeholders concerned in the exercise.
