Nigerian Ebonyi State-born Kingsley Ogbuji has been promoted to the position of Major in the United States Army.

Sharing the exciting news on Instagram on Monday, July 1, 2024, Kingsley wrote, “To God be the glory, I am amazed”
The presiding officer, LGT Bagle, congratulated Kingsley, saying, “Congratulations to you on your selection and promotion to Major.
“It was an honour for me to preside over your ceremony and I appreciate the opportunity.
“At this new level, more will be expected of you but you will be prepared. Continue to strive for excellence.”
Ogbuji who holds a Master of Arts degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma is also a volunteer for UNICEF USA.
