The President of Nigerian Youth Progressive Movement (NYPM), Dr Shuaibu Abdulrasheed, has called on the Nigerian youth to support and unite themselves for a better Nigeria ahead of 2027 election cycle.

Dr. Abdulrasheed made the call in a statement he signed and sent to journalists in Abuja on Friday.

He said young people have the potential and play a pivotal role in the emergence of political leaders in the country, but they are often not carried along the scheme of things.

He further called on young people to support themselves by aspiring for political offices in the 2027 general election.

“If we really believe and unite ourselves, we will surely achieve so many things in this country. Politicians will not even attempt to exploit us. We have to drop our differences and focus more on changing our mindset. The elite have cooperation among themselves while the masses are busy fighting one another,” he stated.
