Multiple award winning internationally acclimed folk musician, has finally released his much anticipated new album entitled “Sonso”, In his usual relentless efforts in promoting Nigerian and African rich cultural heritage globally.
It is a joyful and thought-provoking music from the Beautiful Nubia and his band, “The Roots Renaissance Band”,says popular music critic Dymond of the World renowned music ministry preview platform, “World Music Central”, in his preview of the album already making waves around the world.
Sonso, released on his private label, is the 20th studio album by Beautiful Nubia and the Roots Renaissance Band. It was was recorded at the legendary Afrodisia Studio, Abule Oja, Lagos and Artun Soundgrove studio, Ottawa, Canada.
As expected it contents enriching traditional rhythm and variety of folk sounds, cultural and creative arts expression which distinguishes Beautiful Nubia in the music industry. The Sonso album has 15 tracks. Five of the songs were rendered in English language , while the other eight in Yoruba language. Dymond, applauded the album for being instrumentally captivating in his preview.

Speaking about his new album “Sonso”, Beautiful Nubia, a veterinary doctor turned musician said, Sonso is the best pal for excellent music lovers who wants to enjoy good music with creatively and life translation messages. “It contains 15 brand new tracks brimming with with wisdom and sweet melodies”, he declared .
