The group described her as a “true daughter of Nasarawa.”

Hajia Ibrahim, who hails from Keffi local government area of Nasarawa State, previously served as the federal commissioner for the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons before President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed her a minister.

The group said that in addition to her diligent performance in official duties, Mrs Ibrahim has shown extraordinary care and support for vulnerable individuals in the state. Her initiatives include providing scholarships to state indigenes for local and international graduate and postgraduate studies.

According to TPF, the minister has played a critical role in securing appointments for Nasarawa State indigenes in various ministries, departments, and agencies. She has also supported enlisting state indigenes into the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, in Kano State.

“We deem it necessary to acknowledge the modest contributions of Minister Imaan in providing economic empowerment to over 500 women and youth. Many of these individuals, having been taught valuable skills, are now gainfully employed and able to support their families,” the group stated.

“Minister Imaan is leading an ambitious Renewed Hope Police Reform program to strengthen internal security in Nigeria. This includes supporting the fast-tracking of the National Criminal Data Fusion Center (NCDFC) for the Nigeria Police Force, which is at an advanced completion stage.

“Minister Imaan is also championing a strategic shift towards community policing to improve overall safety and security in our communities. She has played instrumental roles in securing commitments on technical assistance and funding from various local and international partners to strengthen the Nigeria Police Force,” TPF added.
