He expressed his appreciation during a visit by Vipan Global Resources Limited, the project manager.
The emir noted that the road’s deplorable condition had led to numerous accidents and commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for listening to his repeated calls for the road’s reconstruction, highlighting its economic importance, and facilitating the movement of goods from Katsina to other states.

While thanking the president, the emir also urged him to ensure the completion of the abandoned Katsina-Kano road project.

Earlier, the managing director of Vipan Global Resources Limited, Mr Doumd Ters, assured the emir that the company had begun work without mobilisation fees and engaged 1,000 indigenous workers.
He appealed for local support to ensure the project’s successful execution.
