The Commander of NDLEA in the state, Abubakar Idris-Ahmad, highlighted the convictions as a testament to the relentless efforts of the anti-narcotic agency.

Among those convicted include Abubakar Mu’azu, who was involved in an altercation resulting in the stabbing of an NDLEA officer during his arrest.

Mu’azu has been sentenced to three years in a correctional center, while the remaining 21 convicts received various prison terms.

Idris-Ahmad emphasised the importance of these convictions in the broader context of the agency’s mission.
