Adamawa Introduces Mobile Court To Try Sanitation Violators

Adamawa State government has introduced a mobile court to try defaulters of environmental sanitation regulations in the state.

Deputy Governor Kaletapwa Farauta who defied rainfall to monitor the monthly sanitation exercise yesterday said government reintroduced the exercise to ensure clean environment in the state.

Farauta who doubles as state chairman sanitation committee led other cabinet members to inspect major refuse dumps at Shagari, Aliyu Mustapha College and Doubeli by-pass and airport road to ensure their evacuation.

She noted that her participation in yesterday’s exercise was to lead by example, and directed all ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) to key into the exercise to ensure a disease-free and healthy state.
