M&C Saatchi Collaborates With SO&U To Strengthen Partnership On MTN Account

M&C Saatchi and SO&U collaborated to secure the prestigious MTN account as part of efforts to foster collaboration and align with the MTN brand to set new standards in the telecommunications industry.

The seamless integration of their efforts aims to set new standards in the telecoms industry, by reflecting the shared ambition of both agencies to achieve outstanding results.

To this end, the M&C Saatchi team from South Africa visited the SO&U office in Lagos as this marks the first visit since M&C Saatchi secured the prestigious MTN account.

The team, led by M&C Saatchi Africa’s Group CEO Jacques Burger, was in Nigeria for the local phase of the MTN business onboarding process, which is part of a broader strategy to integrate partners across Africa.

The meeting focused on several key areas crucial to the success of the partnership.

Firstly, the discussion centered around the affiliation and partnership between M&C Saatchi and SO&U for managing the Nigerian aspect of the MTN business.

Both teams explored how they intend to collaborate to deliver world-class campaigns for the MTN brand in Nigeria.

A significant part of the conversation was dedicated to developing strategies for streamlining operations.

This includes finding ways to enhance the synergy between SO&U and its subsidiaries to improve efficiency and performance.

The teams also sought to gain a better understanding of MTN Nigeria’s structure and its various operating units, which is essential for crafting effective and cohesive campaigns.

Looking ahead, the meeting also addressed the future outlook for MTN’s creative output and engagement over the next five years.

Both parties shared their vision and plans to ensure that MTN remains at the forefront of the telecommunications industry in Nigeria through innovative and compelling marketing strategies.
