In a statement issued by the executive director at WIMBIZ, Omowunmi Akingbohungbe, they signed this partnership when they paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian High Commission in the UK.
During the visit, they highlighted the crucial role of women‘s leadership and economic inclusion in sustainable growth.

The WIMBIZ delegation, led by chairman of the Board of Trustees Bisi Adeyemi, included notable members such as co-founder Bola Adesola, Trustee Aishah Ahmad, Executive Director Omowunmi Akingbohungbe, Chair of the London Conference Planning Group Rabi Isma, and Vice Chair Caroline Popoola.

Bisi Adeyemi expressed WIMBIZ‘s dedication to promoting Nigerian entrepreneurs and collaborating with the High Commission on export support initiatives.

“Our robust network of female-led businesses across various sectors is strategically positioned to capitalise on international trade opportunities between Nigeria and the UK to foster prosperity in both nations,“ she stated.
