Normalcy returned to Ibadan metropolis in the Oyo State capital as commuters and citizens resumed commercial activities early Friday, day after the commencement of the nationwide hardship protest.

The protest had taken place on Thursday in Ibadan as businesses closed due to uncertainties surrounding the protest.

However, on the second day of the protest on Friday, normalcy has returned with people back on the streets and commercial activities returned.

LEADERSHIP correspondent in the state visited popular locations like Idi-Ape Junction, Bashorun, Ashi Road, General Gas area, Kolapo Ishola Communities, Elewi Odo and Amuda Ojere along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ibadan.
