This is just as the solution provider service aims at relieving the difficulties and rigours associated with retrieving or replacing lost documents such as international passport, driving licences and other official documents for Nigerians.

Speaking at the product launch held in Lagos, CEO, ZionCity Innovation Service Ltd, Hero Usiagwu, remarked that the initiative is a solution developed with a deep understanding of the need to ameliorate the burden through the use of digital services.

He asserted that, ”We all have experienced challenges of losing documents at some point of our lives. And I thought about how to help Nigerians play a role in reaching out with a digital solution.

“And that was how the idea came about. I thought that not all documents lost can be found. For example, if a document is lost in a bush, how will it be found? Except you’re aware that the document is lost in the bush, that’s how it can be found.”

Usiagwu buttressed that the firm is taking the weight load off lost document owners by collaborating Telco operators, national postal service and LGAs spread across Nigeria by subscribing on the Back2u platform for a swift document retrieval and replacement experience.

He said: “I thought about it if that document can be replaced, then that means I can provide a solution. This is why if you misplace a document and after 48 hrs you do not find it, I will urge you to reach out to produce the documents, as long as you have subscribed to the service that problem is solved.

“We have collaborated with Federal and state agencies for the reproduction of these legal documents, and we will provide the exact amount to reproduce the document at no extra cost to our subscriber.”

Usiagwu added that, “the initiative is leveraging cutting-edge technology to efficiently recover and return lost documents to the rightful owners, and as well as facilitate the duplication of document issuance, liaison with government agencies and education institutions by offering legal document support.”

On her part, Business director, ZionCity Innovation, Blessing Favour-Damehchi stated that,” For you to benefit from these services we expect you to be a subscriber to the service as all you have to do is send an SMS to 7244 for the daily, weekly and monthly subscription. So, when you lose a document or you find a document we expect our stakeholders which are the public to reach out to us and call 070070 Back2U which is a toll-free line.

“We  are licensed by the Nigeria Communication Commission which is a government agency while we are partnering with MTN as we intend to collaborate with other Telcos.”

In his remark, Cameroonian Business Consultant and Back2U Nigeria partner, Ngu Denulf noted that the profit was being launched in Ghana, Ivory Coast and Cameroon.

He stressed that the initiative is to solve the problem of loss in Africa while urging  Nigerians to fully embrace the product.
