State governors have been asked to fear God and utilise the N570 billion allocated to them by President Bola Tinubu on youth and women development programmes to alleviate the sufferings and hardship being encountered in the country.

The call was made on Friday by a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Musa Kwankwaso while addressing newsmen.

He warned that if they refuse to heed to his advice and misuse the funds or divert them for personal greed, posterity would judge them.

“On the N570 billion given to the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory the governors and the administrators should fear God because posterity will not forgive them if they mismanage the funds or divert it for their personal use.

“They should utilise it in employment of youths and women in their respective states of the country.

“States should emulate the Ebonyi State government which doled out N1 million each to 13,000 people to enable them start their small-scale businesses and thus spent over N13 billion on empowerment,” he stated.

Speaking on those who allegedly instigated the nationwide protests, he described them as enemies of the country whose actions have political undertone.

He stated that they only did what they did to show their hatred and enmity to President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
