At least three persons have been confirmed dead as a result of a flood disaster in villages across three Bauchi local government areas.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the disaster also displaced several hundred people. Farmlands and property worth millions of naira were washed away.

The flood was triggered by a heavy downpour that lasted for about three hours. This caused a massive flow of surface runoff water in the communities.
