Uchenna-Erondu Jnr. made the appeal in a statement issued by his spokesperson, George Egejuru, to felicitate with the youths on the 2024 International Youth Day in Umuahia, the state capital.

The statement said the member representing the Obingwa West constituency asserted that giving them such attention would go a long way in solving some of the major challenges confronting the country.

He described the theme of the day, ‘From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways For Sustainable Development’, as apt and timely, insisting on youths’ inclusion in governance at all levels.

He said the digital age is reshaping the world and providing unique opportunities to accelerate sustainable development, urging people to shun crime, upscale their digital skills, and lead in building a better society.

The erstwhile chairman of Obingwa local government, appreciating their efforts in the struggle to build a great future for all, reiterated his resolve to partner with them to actualise their dreams and goals.
