A non-governmental organization based in Indiana, the United States, After God Heart Inc., has extended a N1.5 million grant to boost the humanitarian efforts of the Alumni of Mass Communication Students (AMACOS) of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Ojere Abeokuta.

The grant, according to the NGO, is a demonstration of its alignment with the noble aspiration of the alumni association to scale up their capacity building, economic empowerment and education programmes.

In the letter of the award to the Alumni association, the Co-founder/President of the benefactor organization, Mrs. M. Olawale, said the donation is to support AMACOS Alumni effort to improve the lives of their members and the surrounding community.

According to the co-founder of After God’s Heart, “When you establish a system, sustainability follows. “We are proud to support the efforts of the AMACOS 94-99 group. Their structure is not only distinctive but also a model that can be emulated by similar groups globally. Their heart for community outreach stems from an unwavering commitment to each other’s well-being, which is a living testament to the potency of an intentionally nurtured community. This aligns perfectly with the mission of ‘After God’s Heart’ to address the vast ocean of needs worldwide. It’s an honor to collaborate with such an organization,” Olawale affirmed.
