Group Commends Security Agencies Over Arrest Of Hadejia

The Citizens United Against Terrorism (CUAT) has expressed appreciation for the efforts of security agencies in arresting Bashir Hadejia, who is alleged to be involved in cross-border criminal activities.

CUAT’s convener, Dr Emmanuel Agabi, commended the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and the security agencies for their prompt action in addressing the situation.

During a press conference in Abuja, CUAT emphasised the importance of a thorough investigation into the activities of Hadejia and his alleged accomplices.

The group urged that all individuals connected to these activities, regardless of status, should be held accountable and face legal consequences.

CUAT also called on President Bola Tinubu to ensure that any government official implicated in this case is subject to the law. The group highlighted the significance of transparency and justice in maintaining national security.

Additionally, CUAT voiced concerns about potential attempts to manipulate public opinion and urged security agencies to remain vigilant. They stressed the importance of preventing any resurgence of destabilising activities and ensuring that all those involved are brought to justice.
