Reflecting on my journey, I have acknowledged the challenges I faced as a woman in the tech industry, including gender disparity and advancement barriers. By networking with women in tech groups and advocating for inclusion, I not only have advanced my career but also mentored young women, helping them navigate the tech landscape’’ She says.

She reflected on the hurdles she faced in navigating the tech industry as a woman. “I experienced gender disparity, underrepresentation, work-life balance, and advancement barriers. But I didn’t let those barriers stop me. I saw them as opportunities to help others achieve their dreams.

To overcome these challenges, Adejumo shared gleefully how she intentionally started networking with women in tech groups and advocated for inclusion. “I began to equip myself with more tech skills to push me beyond limits in this competitive sector.”

“I make conscious efforts to mentor young women and engage with organisations like Techstars,” she emphasised, expressing her commitment to encouraging others to join the movement for equality in the workplace.
