She said IPAC’s Executive Council members led by its national chairman, Yusuf Mamman Dantalle met with Senator Akume on the project.

She said the SGF commended IPAC leaders for carrying out the project and assured them of the government’s support to ensure that the movie reached both old and new generations of Nigerians and highlighted the importance of safeguarding the nation’s emerging democracy and its history and opined that History as a subject be returned to the school curriculum.

She said Senator Akume praised IPAC’s efforts, stating, “This is a historic effort by IPAC to document the history and preserve the nation’s democracy.”
