The acting national chairman of the Labour Party, Callistus U Okafor, has called on Edo people to vote for their party, adding that it is the only platform that can liberate the people.

Okafor, a factional chairman, said that the Labour Party candidate, Olumide Akpata, represents a new hope for the Edo people.

In a statement he signed, Okafor said the country is going through a different phase, adding that only the Labour Party can bring it out of it.

“Beloved people of Edo State, the situation in the country and Edo State in particular calls for a massive shift from what we are used to doing to a different phase.

“The only party that guarantees sustainable solutions for our people’s problems is the Labour Party.
