Silky Touch Emporium, the renowned luxury goods centre and fashion consultants, is set to celebrate its 40th anniversary with a classic wine-tasting event.
The MD/CEO of Silky Touch, Ogbuefi Victor Okolie, in a press statement, said the firm has a long-term partnership with top Italian brands such as Stefano Ricci, Artioli, Nipmar, and Pal Zileri, while Moschino is their latest partner.
Silky Touch will be presenting sustainable designs for both the young and the young-at-heart, Okolie said, adding that, “We are parading classic wears and colours alongside high-fashion items, but remember that luxury commands its price.
“We are also investing more in quality jewelleries, watches, leather goods and other accessories. These are items that have second-hand value that you can pass from one generation to another. Gold and diamond jewellery, for instance, still have value, no matter how old they are.”
From its humble beginnings on Olowu Street in the hearts of Ikeja, Lagos, the gentlemen’s clothier, like a mustard seed that has grown into a big oak tree, has evolved into a unique luxury goods store that parades some of the world-class premium Italian clothes and accessories for men who understand the business of dressing well.
The unique wine-tasting experience will feature a collection of exotic Stefano Ricci wines and champagnes for the wine connoisseurs, including the presentation of the Royal Suites homeware collection of silverware plates, cutleries, glasses and home furniture, too.
Okolie further assured that, “there would be a good discount for early birds in all our shops in Victoria Island, Ikeja and Abuja.”
