The lawmaker, representing Ningi /Warji Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, Hon Adamu Hashimu Ranga, has congratulated His Royal Highness (HRH), Alhaji Haruna Yunusa Muh’d Danyaya, on his recent appointment as the emir of Ningi by the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, . In a letter he signed and made available to newsmen, Ranga said the appointment was timely.
The lawmaker described Haruna Danyaya’s appointment as a square peg in a square hole, an appointment well deserved.
The letter which read in part, says Ranga reiterated his confidence in the ability and capacity of the emir to deliver on the throne and prayed for him to continue on the legacies of his predecessor.
He said the emir has impeccable credentials with a good track record that fits into the gap of his late father Yunusa Muh’d Danyaya.
Ranga, also stated that, he has no doubt that the people of Ningi emirate and the entire Bauchi traditional Emirates Council will benefit immensely from the wealth of experience gannered by Haruna as Chiroma before his appointment.
Hon. Ranga, while wishing the emir success in his reign on the throne also urged him to build on the legacies of his late father in order to promote peace, unity and justice as well as economic development of the people of Ningi and Bauchi State.
The lawmaker while thanking the executive governor of the state for his unflinching support to the traditional institutions and the Emirates Council on the historic appointment also prayed for God Almighty to continue to strengthen and guide the governor and the entire emirate Council in all their endeavours.
Before his appointment as emir of Ningi, Haruna Danyaya was the Chiroman Ningi and the eldest son to the late emir, Alhaji Yunusa Danyaya who died after a brief illness and was buried according to Islam rites.
