The chains, crafted by renowned jeweler Joseph Frost, were presented as a token of appreciation for their support.

Following this generous gesture, fans of Afrobeats superstar Davido were quick to draw comparisons, noting that Davido had set the trend by gifting diamond chains to his own crew.
Many credited Davido for popularizing the act of giving luxury gifts to team members, with some fans claiming Asake was following in his footsteps.
