APC Supporters Donate Food Items To Vulnerable People In Niger

Supporters of All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Niger State, Umar Bago has distributed food items worth thousands of naira to some poor and vulnerable persons in Bosso local government area of Niger State.

The director-general of Bago Mini gubernatorial campaign team, Umar Erena said the exercise was aimed at providing succour for the poor in the council.

During the distribution at the Bosso district head palace, Erena said ordinary Nigerians are suffering due to the high cost of food items and other essential commodities hence their intervention to reduce their burden.

The district head of Bosso, Alhaji Mu’azu Adamu Laka, who is also Magajin Garin Minna, appreciated the kind gesture of the group and commended them for the initiative.

While saying that the gesture deserved to be emulated by others, he urged the beneficiaries to use the items in feeding their families and not to sell them.
He stated that it will go a long way in cushioning the effects of the current hardship facing the people, as he ordered the distribution items mainly rice and spaghetti to the ten wards of the area

An aged beneficiary, Abubakar Adamu in an interview lauded the convener for the initiative saying that it will provide succour to people like him in no small measure.
