In a statement released on Tuesday, Senator Aliyu Abdullahi reflected on his father’s impactful life, describing him as a figure of “great patience and tolerance” who played a key role in the community. Alhaji Abdullahi served as the District Head of Luma in the Borgu Emirate Council and held various leadership roles throughout his life.

He was also the pioneer Chairman of the Jamaatul Izalatul Bidia Wa Ikamatul Sunnah in Borgu Kingdom, contributing to the spiritual and social development of the region.

Senator Abdullahi fondly recalled his father’s unwavering dedication to the Borgu Kingdom and his strong support for the late Emir of Borgu, Senator Haliru Dantoro Kitoro III, noting, “He was the last man standing in his support for the late Emir.”
