On Tuesday, he distributed the items to the pupils of Rimi City Primary School, Yakasai Quarters, Kano. He called on individuals and corporate organisations to contribute to developing education at the community level.

He lamented the statistics of 10 million out-of-school children in the north, saying that all hands must be on deck to address the situation.

“We are here in this primary school today to flag off the distribution of school uniforms, teaching materials and exercise books for the pupils because child education is key to a better future.

“Under my office as the SSA Community Engagement, we see how worried the president is about the education of the younger generation.
