Customs Intercepts Illegal Petrol Worth N20m

Operatives of Federal Operations  Unit Zone ‘D’ of the Customs confiscated about 628 jerry cans, four drums of petrol and about 78 pieces of donkey skin worth N20 million.

Comptroller of the zone, Aliyu Abubakar disclosed this while briefing journalists on Wednesday in Bauchi.

He said the breakthrough was recorded between September 6th and October 8th this year.

Abubakar explained that the cumulative duty value of the items was worth about N20,330,225.
