The Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has promised to prioritise healthcare delivery and infrastructure development if elected in the November 16 off-cycle governorship election.
Speaking at a campaign tour in Ifedore local government area of the state, Aiyedatiwa disclosed that his administration would not deviate from giving the people the best.
The governor vowed not to be distracted from improving the quality of life in the state, adding that projects in the state will reflect the priorities of the people.
Endorsing Aiyedatiwa’s candidature on behalf of other traditional rulers in Ifedore Local Government, Olowa of Igbara-Oke, Oba Adefarakanmi Agbede, also urged the governor to rehabilitate the roads within communities in the area.
The monarch said “This road is not just a path, it is the lifeline of our community, connecting our people to opportunities. Its rehabilitation will greatly enhance economic activities.”
While revealing that the community’s Basic Health Center lacked resident doctors and personnel, Oba Agbede urged the governor to intervene as a matter of urgency.
According to him, “Your intervention in matters affecting our traditional institution shows your respect for us. This is why you have earned our trust. The road network across this local government requires urgent attention to improve access and facilitate development.”
