Leading business and technology solutions company iCentra is set to train 1,500 young professionals, mainly Africans, in essential skills such as project management, agile methodologies, and digital transformation.
Speaking during the company’s 15th-anniversary celebration on Thursday, Taopheek Babayeju, the chief executive officer, highlighted the initiative as part of iCentra’s commitment to giving back.
He said the company would lead the execution of Project1500, a programme initiated honouring his recent recognition as PMI Global Person of the Year 2024. Babayeju emphasised that the program aims to equip young professionals with the skills to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape.
He also revealed several future-focused initiatives that will shape the company’s trajectory, including unveiling a refreshed brand identity that reflects iCentra’s growth and vision for the future.
In addition, Babayeju introduced the iCentra Project Development Company, which will oversee large-scale capital projects and offer comprehensive project management solutions to clients across various sectors. He highlighted iCentra’s commitment to excellence and global impact. Since its inception, he noted that the company has consistently delivered extraordinary results across industries by combining deep industry knowledge with innovative solutions.
