Early this year, the governor distributed 15 tractors to 13 local government areas of the state.
Represented by the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the governor on public affairs, Comrade Peter Ahemba, the governor said his administration is providing tractors to farmers to ease farming activities in order to boost food production in the state.

He explained that the state government has since keyed into the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu-led food security programme, assuring that the state will have enough food by next year.

Speaking further, the governor said work on oil exploration in the state was slowed down due to some technical hitches, stressing that now that the issues had been overcome, oil exploration in the state would soon resume.
Sule pointed out that his administration has concern about the welfare and wellbeing of the citizens, said government will continue to do her best to address the needs of the people in the state.
