RKK Group Unveils Innovative Renewable Energy Solution For Nigerian SMEs

RKK Group, a leading Nigerian conglomerate, has introduced an innovative renewable energy solution aimed at improving access to clean energy for Nigeria’s small business sector.

The iRESS Solar Backpack—a portable, multifunctional device—integrates a foldable solar panel, lithium phosphate battery, and inverter system. Engineered to capture solar energy, this groundbreaking product provides dependable power, particularly for off-grid areas, supporting the everyday needs of its users.

CEO of RKK Group, Aderemi Kilaso, in a press statement made available to LEADERSHIP, highlighted that the iRESS solar backpack is more than just a product; it represents a key stride towards realizing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). “By promoting clean energy access, empowering communities, and fostering sustainable economic growth, we are playing our part in making the world a better place,” Kilaso remarked during a health and safety standards workshop for staff in Abuja.

Kilaso further emphasized RKK Group’s commitment to making this solution accessible to all Nigerians.

In recognition of their efforts, RKK Group was awarded the Best Innovative Product for Sustainability at the Africa Safety Award for Excellence (AfriSAFE) 2024. The esteemed event, held on November 8th in Livingstone, Zambia, drew participants from Africa, Asia, and Europe.
