The head of education and social development department of AMAC, Dr Sheriff Aminu Ibrahim, stated this at the weekend, when he supervised the clearing of a dump site at the LEA Primary School, Lungu-Gwarinpa in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

LEADERSHIP gathered that the cleaning of the dump site in the school was solely funded by class of 2023 students of The Hillside School, Gwarinpa, who had adopted the school for their community service, with the aim of providing safe and clean environment for learning.

Ibrahim congratulated the students for paying for the cleaning of the dump site, noting that the dump site had in the past, remained a health challenge and a source of pollution to students of LEA Primary School, Lungu-Gwarinpa and other residents of the community.

Also speaking, the principal of The Hillside School, Gwarinpa, Mrs Ihuoma To-Anadu,  said the students raised the money for the cleaning of the dump site.
