Long time after her disappearance from the public scene, former bread seller who later became a model, Olajumoke Orisaguna, popularly known as Olajumoke Onibread, has resurfaced as a radio talkshow host.

Olajumoke, who launched her talk show titled ‘Kilon Shele’ on City FM on Wednesday at a news conference in Lagos, expressed gratitude to famous photographer, TY Bello, for her pivotal role leading to her stardom in 2016.

She also told journalists of her readiness to pursue education by returning to school, blaming illiteracy for the challenges she encountered after her discovery by TY Bello.

Speaking on her radio show, Olajumoke said it will focus on her personal story, including her experiences with exploitative managers who took advantage of her lack of education.

The radio show, according to her, will also address her emotional struggles while away from the public scene as well as her endeavours to self-discovery and empowerment.

She further stated that her show will be a platform to showcase motivating conversations with guests with similar challenges.

“I want to use my platform to share my story, the good and the bad. I want to show that even in the darkest moments, there is hope for a better tomorrow.

“My show will be a beacon of inspiration for those who have faced similar struggles,” she said.

Recounting on her past experiences, particularly on mistakes that damaged relationships with benefactors, Olajumoke lamented, “I have suffered a lot,” she said.

She, however, gave kudos to Azuka and TY Bello “for not giving up” on her.

The radio host encouraged those coming behind her “to work hard and never bite the finger that feeds them. I made many mistakes, but I’ve learned my lessons and want others to learn from my story.”

Olajumoke shot into limelight in 2016 after mother luck brought her in contact with ace photographer TY Bello when she walked into a photo shoot she was capturing for British rapper Tinie Tempah.
