The Foundation for Peace Professionals (PeacePro) has launched global peace criteria for leadership assessment.
The executive director of PeacePro, Abdulrazaq Hamzat said the innovative framework was designed to evaluate the leadership quality of 21st century leaders based on their contributions to global peace, ethical governance, and sustainable development.
“As the world faces increasingly complex challenges, ranging from climate change to political polarization and regional conflicts, there is an urgent need to redefine leadership standards.
“The Global Peace Criteria provides a holistic, multidimensional approach to assess leaders, encouraging them to embrace ethical practices, foster unity, and create lasting legacies of peace,” Hamzat said.
Hamzat said the framework evaluates leaders across 10 comprehensive dimensions which include vision and strategic thinking, ethical leadership, peace building and global impact, emotional intelligence, innovation and adaptability, humanitarian and environmental contributions, measurable outcomes, popular and institutional support; and legacy and inspiration: Fostering transformational leadership and cultural diplomacy.
Hamzat added that;” Leadership today must transcend self-interest to address the collective needs of humanity. Our criteria offer a framework to measure the effectiveness of leaders in building a better, more peaceful world.”
