She prayed for the love of Jesus Christ to continue to bind churches across the country.

She urged Christians to set aside all differences and unite for the promotion of the gospel and humanity.

She said, “I want to thank the family of Filli that brought us together to remember the good works of late Rev Zira. We have lived as one family with the families because of the love of Christ.

“I pray that the love of Christ will continue to bind us together. My hope for this foundation is that, it will raise young men and women for Christ. My prayers for this foundation is to raise children that would be like Baba Filli.”

She emphasized the need for all churches to unite in moving the country and the Christian faith forward.

The book launched at the event is entitled, “Late Rev Bulus Zira Filli Storied Life of Storied Impacts,” written by Rev Yola Ranjiya.

Introducing the book, the author asked the congregation always to imbibe the spirit of reading the Holy Bible.

The book reviewer, Joseph Kwaji said the late clergyman started evangelism in 1951 when he led a team to establish a mission centre in Borno State, which now has become first missionary center for ‘Kamwe’ communities.

Kwaji pointed out that the book preaches forgiveness and how to succeed as a minister of God.

He stressed that the 200-page book containing 12 chapters expresses the primary virtue of the EYN Church to which the late Rev Bulus Zira Filli belonged.

The book was dedicated by the EYN president, Rev Dr Daniel Mbaya who was represented by the vice president of the church, Rev Nuhu Abba.
