A faith based organisation operating under the aegis of   Order of  Knights of Saint Mulumba (KSM) has invested  N10m in the provision of solar lighting project in Anambra State.

The order has also attracted the sum of $20m from the United States for investment in boreholes projects in four  Nigerian states of Ogun, Rivers, Benue and Anambra.

Speaking on the issue,  at the  45th Knight of Mulumba Supreme Council conversation  which rounded off in Calabar, at  the weekend, Worthy Supreme Knight  KSM Nigeria, Dr. Charles Mbelede, stressed  that  the gesture has greatly cushioned the effect of levies  and donations usually  placed on the shoulders of members who usually  shoulder the responsibility of  contributing toward  successful execution of any charity project  by the order.

The cleric  who spoke on the convention ‘s theme titled; ” Deepening Christian spirituality and family values, roles and challenges,” hailed the media  for not relenting in its responsibility  of setting  the agenda for national development praising the media for serving as the backbone of democratic governance.

He stated   that the order has consistently utilized the opportunities provided by its annual conventions to expose  views and opinions that suggest pragmatic solutions to problems and challenges facing the nation.
