“It reflects our shared vision of creating meaningful, lasting impact through collective action, bold innovation, and unwavering dedication,” Akinyemi stated during his inauguration.

The new president outlined his vision for 2025, focusing on leveraging technology, fostering inclusivity, and prioritizing leadership development.

“Our greatest strength lies in our people. Every member deserves support to reach their full potential and make a significant impact,” he emphasized.

Akinyemi also announced plans to celebrate JCI ASO’s 25th anniversary, highlighting the organization’s legacy of leadership and innovation.

“For two and a half decades, we have stood as a beacon of service and transformation. This milestone offers us a chance to reflect on our journey and set bold goals for the future,” he said.

Outgoing president JCIN Amb Yetunde Adebisi reflected on her tenure with gratitude, celebrating the organization’s achievements in digitalization and innovation.

She praised the dedication of members, whom she described as the organization’s greatest asset.

“This journey’s richness is not just in milestones achieved but in the remarkable people who walked alongside me. Together, we’ve not just talked about change but embraced it,” Adebisi remarked, urging members to continue supporting the incoming leadership.

JCI Alumni chairman JCI Sen Collins Olaniyan commended both leaders for their dedication.

Reflecting on his tenure as JCI ASO President in 2005, Olaniyan encouraged the new board to foster unity and maximize the potential of its members.

“To the outgoing president, your exceptional leadership over the past year has been transformative. To the incoming President Felix, your commitment has earned you this role, and I am confident you will lead JCI ASO to greater heights,” he said.

Muo Immaculata, the 2024 JCI convention chairperson, praised the organization’s achievements and urged members to collaborate and innovate for continued growth.

“With a renewed commitment to leadership, service, and innovation, JCI ASO’s new leadership is set to build on its legacy and drive impactful change.”
