The Institute of Leadership Assessment and Development of Nigeria is set to host a one-day Leadership Summit themed “Leading with Influence: Becoming the Leader Everyone Trusts and Loves.”
The summit called on leaders from all sectors to adopt a leadership style grounded in trust, authenticity, and influence.
Scheduled to begin at 11:00am, the event promises a day of inspiration, learning, and networking.
A statement by Dr Baba R. Adamu, the institute’s director general, highlighted that the summit’s theme is especially relevant in today’s complex leadership landscape.
“Leadership today requires more than authority. It’s about creating a lasting impact through trust and meaningful connections,” said Dr Hannatu Adamu Fika, president of the Institute of Leadership Assessment and Development of Nigeria.

The chief of defence staff, Gen Christopher G. Musa, will deliver the keynote address, while Prof Silas Lenos Lamela, a renowned leadership expert, will illuminate the nuances of influential leadership.
Panel discussions will also feature industry leaders sharing practical insights and strategies for building trust and influence, with hands-on sessions focusing on emotional intelligence, trust-building, and transformational leadership techniques.
