Today the Traditional ruler of the Ogba people of Rivers State Oba (Eze Ogba) of Ogba land of Rivers State Oba Nwachukwu Nnam Obi 111 will be thanking God Almighty for adding a year to his life. The people of the area will also be joining to celebrate their very beloved leader who under a year on the throne, has shown very positive traits of a positive Oba whose interest lies in carrying the people along in very many areas.
Nwachukwu Nnam Obuohna Obi entered the history books as the twelfth Oba of Ogbaland and third in the Nnam Obi dynasty of Eze Ogba’. A lawyer by profession and former staff of Nigeria Agip Oil Company NAOC, Oba Nwachukwu Nnam Obi 111 has the experience and requisite intelligence about major activities that transpire within the oil rich kingdom.
The fact that the Ogba kingdom which was a very volatile area made possible by militant activities, has become relatively peaceful is very good for the kingdom which boasts a lot of oil and gas deposits. It is worthy to note that His Eminence Oba Nwachukwu Nnam Obi 111 has leveraged on the peace and has been reaching out to various interest groups in the society. He has set up various committees to look at areas such as education, security , economy etc. He has also come down on juju priests whose practices negates growth of the society.
Being a leader is not a tea party. It comes with lots of challenges and I strongly believe that with the new age our Lord has granted His Eminence, he will also grant him greater wisdom to manage the affairs of the Ogba people during his reign. Ogba people with the blessings of natural and human resources in its array strongly deserves a place in Nigeria and it’s my belief that the Ogba Nation will take its place in the annals of people under the reign of Oba Nwachukwu 111.
Royalty and loyalty goes together. As God gave His Eminence grace of royalty, he also gave him grace of loyalty to the people he leads hence the love they continue to show him. Oba Nwachukwu Nnam Obi 111, it is the prayer of your subjects to see that you age in grace, wisdom and the divine direction of God.
