Arewa Group Hails Saraki’s Legacy Of Love, Unity At 62

As the former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki celebrates his 62nd birthday, one of the notable Northern groups, Arewa Think Tank (ATT) has joined friends, political associates, clerics, and well-wishers to felicitate with him on the auspicious and cheerful occasion.

The group described Saraki’s birthday as a legacy of love and unity to humanity.

The 8th Senate President of Nigeria celebrated his birthday penultimate Thursday held at Ilofa Road, GRA, Ilorin residence of the late family head, Dr. Olusola Saraki, with a colourful display of attires and jubilant gatherings.

In a statement by the ATT convener, Muhammad Alhaji Yakubu he praised Dr Saraki’s contributions to humanity, describing him as a beacon of service in Kwara State and Nigeria in general.

“We at Arewa Think Tank wish to join other well wishers to celebrate with you on this special occasion of your life because many people continue to benefit from you even though you are out of public office.

“We cherish your benevolence and magnanimity to humanity despite political criticisms from different quarters across the country, yet you continue to extend help across board reflecting your selflessness.

“This is a testament that you were born great from a great family. Since you left power, you still continue to do great and loving things. That means it is your nature to be great and kind to the people, far and near.

“As it is said, like father, like son, you are indeed wearing your father’s shoes, which were full of goodness, and you walked to gain more friends rather than enemies.

“Years back,  your father and our leader Baba  Saraki showed philanthropism to the people across the country. That is the legacy you are building on today. May Allah continue to give you the strength and wisdom to maintain this legacy of kindness,” he said.
