A statement by the command’s spokesman, DSP Daniel Ndukwe explained that the initiative aims to ensure the safety and security of residents, travellers, and returnees celebrating the season in Enugu State.
He further disclosed that the commissioner had instructed area commanders, divisional police officers (DPOs), and heads of operational and tactical units to intensify visibility patrols within their jurisdictions, especially on highways, streets, places of worship, and event venues.

” He also charges them to ensure effective traffic management in their areas of responsibility, strictly adhere to professional standards, and respect the fundamental rights of citizens in all the operations.
‘The Commissioner extends warm festive greetings to the people of Enugu State, wishing them a Merry Christmas and a safe and peaceful celebration. He encourages citizens to celebrate responsibly, show love, and extend care to the less privileged.
