In a statement personally signed by the chairman of the Forum and former governor of Niger State, Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu (Talban Minna), on Tuesday, FGF thanked the Almighty God for the advent of another year and wished all Nigerians a fruitful, happy and prosperous New Year.

“The Forum notes with gladness that despite the challenges of nation building, the country has remained one indivisible entity. In difficult and good times we as a people march on, we sincerely hope and pray for a better year for all Nigerians.

“The unity that we determinedly uphold as a nation through our interactions, intergroup relations and the values of heterogeneity is a culture that has transcended generations of Nigerians and this we will continue to promote as a body as we enter 2025.
