Boi-Lere Road Will Soon Be Completed – Commissioner

Bauchi State commissioner for Works and Transport, Hon. Ibrahim Gambo Galadima has expressed satisfaction over the pace of the ongoing construction of 29 km Boi- Gambar – Sara – Marte to Lere road project.

The commissioner spoke with newsmen during his unscheduled visit to the project site yesterday, saying the visit was to make on -the – spot inspection of the project.

Hon Gambo Galadima said the Boi – Gambar road project was part of the initiatives of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad administration to open communities, boost economic activities and facilitate easy access to localities in the rural communities.

He commended the contractors for doing what was expected from them and expressed optimism that the project would be completed in high quality and even before the time frame.

Galadima further reiterated that his ministry will maintain close supervision of the project to ensure full compliance with specifications.

In his remarks, the state commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Usman Dantutaki Garba, recognised the role of road infrastructure in enhancing the quality of life of the rural populace and described the Bauchi State Governor as an exemplary leader who was committed to prioritising the well-being of the people and the progress of Bauchi State at large.

He urged the benefitting communities to pray for the governor so that he could deliver on his promises to benefit incoming generations.

During the visit, the commissioner was accompanied by four commissioners, including the commissioner for Information and Communications, Alh. Usman Dantutaki Garba, the commissioner for Agriculture, Professor Simon Madugu Yalams, the commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Abdul Hassan, and the commissioner for Commerce and Industries, Engr. Muhammad Binni Abdulkadir.
