Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has dissolved the State Executive Council.

Governor Sule also removed the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barrister Muhammed Ubandoma-Aliyu.

The move came shortly after Vice President Kashim Shettima departed the state after a one -day vist.

The governor himself announced the cabinet dissolution during an emergency State Executive Council meeting which commenced at about 7:pm yesterday.

Our correspondent reports that most of the cabinet members participated in the state function during the visit of the vice president.

Many had expected that the dissolution would follow a cabinet reshuffle by President Bola Tinubu in October  2024.
